Like everyone i know says gay all the time like "dude, your gay" or "that show is gay" or " dont be gay" just slang for whatever someone doesnt like or thinks is dumb. Do gays use "gay" as a slang too?

YES!!

Not every gay person hates it, I'm assuming, but anyone I know does because it just pisses us off.

The whole reason the word "gay" means something dumb or stupid in your vocabulary is because somebody thought gay people were dumb or stupid and it became synonymous. Even though you probably don't mean it when you say it, the original source was hateful and ignorant. It implies that you think gay people are dumb and really, there are a million other words you could use. Why that one?

Some do, but others don't care or take it in stride. Personally, I don't get offended so much as I laugh at them; as soon as I hear someone say "that's so gay", it makes me think of a 12-year-old tryhard.

It's sort of the same issue as "queer"; some people are offended by it, but others use it as a legitimate identity. Still, others don't care one way or another.

To begin with, homosexuals are men (or ladies) who are of age who enjoy having intercourse with the identical gender. Pedophiles are men (or females) who revel in having intercourse with the sexually immature. You have to recognize that there is rather a difference between an 18 12 months old having sex with a sixteen 12 months ancient and a 30 12 months historical having intercourse with a 12 yr old. These laws are in situation so as to help trauma to kids who can't make proper decisions about their wellness and wellness. Many choices we make as more youthful folks even as teenagers could seem right at the time, but they may be able to motive nice harm psychologically afterward. The motive in most locations the "legal age" is 18, is due to the fact that the cutoff factor needs to be someplace. Some could believe that a sixteen yr ancient has the cognizant capacity to decide their sexual companions for themself, and possibly they do. In some states, 16 IS the legal age. All of it comes all the way down to what you suppose. In case you believe that having anal between adults is simply as unhealthy as having sex with a helpless baby, than I feel there may be little difference. But most of us recognize that a intercourse act between two adults is rarely the equal as what is almost rape between an adult and a little one who does no longer truly comprehend that their movements are demanding.

No, I don't (anymore).

Those who use it as slang for replacement for a (better/worse) word, I regard them as an ignoramus.

Those who do use it for the sexuality meaning used to offend me, but not really anymore. There is no denying the truth anyway (unless you're in closet, but still, I am in closet and I wouldn't give one F).

People who do use it for bullying intentions (e.g. "Ha ha! Stupid gay kid") DO offend me and aggravate me to the extremel

I get more just put off in general. Basically, I will immediately dismiss a person who uses gay as a pejorative. It's offensive, but more than anything else it just displays a complete and utter lack of cultural and social awareness.

Yes, I get offended. Wouldn't you get offended if people started using your name, gender, etc, as slang for stupid/bad/undesirable/etc?

I'm not gay, but I'd imagine it would offend gays.

Doesn't offend me at all, they are just using it like they would use a swear word when appropriate. Personally, things like Queer, Poof etc.. I find very insulting.
