My He-man dolls. Well this borders of subtle gay and subtle serial killer really, LOL.
I used to pop the heads off of them and fill them with water. I would replace the heads, strip them down, tie two of the characters together and put them in the freezer. After they were frozen together I would smash them with a hammer.
I also used to cut the hair off my sisters Barbies and them at the stake as witches because she wouldn't let me play with them.
Hmm.

no, well I used to draw penises on things.
I don't know if that's a sign though... probably.
Ditto on the naked action man, but my favorite toy was a plastic teapot.
Wait, I did used to hold hands with a boy in primary school. why did I answer this question I feel disturbed now.

I was obsessed with Ponch from CHIPS and I wanted to be the Bionic Woman.
Yes, I always took the shirts off the GI Joes, so they're sculpted chests and arms would show.
And I had a strange obsession with watching skateboarders sans shirts at about 12-13.

I have had crushes on women and girls since I was about 4 or 5 years old

my mother talks about when I was 5 and asked for ballet slippers and a tutu for Christmas.
the funny thing was that we lived in the middle of nowhere in the country and I had never even heard or seen a ballet before. my mother is still trying to figure that one out.
I also remember in the 70's wearing my bell bottoms and standing outside looking at my shadow. I was only about 4 or 5 and I had long hair. I remember that if I stood just right, my shadow would look like Ginger from Gilligan's Island. For some reason, it made me happy......now I know why

You mean other than fantasizing and having wet dreams about a guy in my class at 14? That was a pretty good clue I think. Younger than that? Can't remember any.

There were loads of signs. I never really was into sports. I used to play dolls with my little cousin. I had a pet rabbit. All the girls would pour over me, I was never attracted to them. Isn't that all of our problems, we can get the girls but we wouldn't enjoy them. In kindergarden I was caught in a stall with another guy, we wanted to pee together to talk easier. (not that subtle but I thought I was straight) Long into my teens I still cuddled with toy animals, I love cuddling.

all indications with me were about as subtle as a gunshot in central park. What I mean is there were plenty of clues but almost everyone around me iggnored them.
I used to play with my sister's dolls (my biological father had a field day with that one) and when I'd play with the other kids at school, I'd always be the chick... pretending to be Teela from He-Man was the norm.
In 2nd grade, I would chase the older boys and try to kiss them... it's a wonder I never got beat up.
When I was 8 I used to skim the "dirty" flix section at the back of a movie catologue, avoiding the busty babes and targeting on the hot hunks.
There are many more instances, but for the sake of time... I musn't get to engrossed in this.
holla!

Classic Question! I had so many it's not even funny. Firstly, I had huge crushes on two teachers (i would get so nervous around them I wouldn't even want to go to class). then I would write me in diary that i totally "looked up to them" but there would be hearts everywhere. I was such a huge dork!
When I was like 11 and 12 me and my best friend used to make out and play dolls and have the two barbie's make out. She is actually straight and married now, but apparently I took the different road.
I was convinced something was "wrong" with me when I was turned 14 and got a new teacher in Jr. High. She actually turned out to be gay, but I had the biggest crush on her I actually almost threw up b/c I was so nervous before class. This crush lasted for like 4 years (jr high and high school were in the same building so i would see her) and it was miserable. At 15 I realized I was completely gay and came out. Doing great with the love of my life 10 years later ;)

When I was young I got a "Beatle cut" and demanded that everyone referred to me using male pronouns. I grew to like my name only because it can be used for a man or a woman. I refused to wear "girly" clothes, makeup, fingernail polish, etc. etc. (I still do!) I hated when people bought me Barbies and Bratz as gifts. And the list goes on. XD
Now the only difference is that I wear my hair to my shoulders and I've changed the way I dress, but that's all going to change when I graduate high school (Perhaps sooner). I plan to get my hair cut soon too, sort of like it used to be.
But I'm not a lesbian, I'm a "gay transman". :P

Yeah I had some signs when i was younger, i've just started to realize some of them now though.
1) When i went over to my friends house (girl) i would always go and play with her doll house.
2) I played "store" with my friends, and i remember having an argument with him over what kind of store we wanted. I wanted to have a beauty spa.
3) I was always very affectionate to boys more than girls, i would always hug them and hold hands.
4) I always hated gym class, never had any interest in sports.
I didn't turn out to be pretty effeminate though, as I grew older I became a little more masculine (still no sports though).

I played with Cindrella's castle and used to pretend I was Arieal from Little Mermaid. I watched all the disneys and I went around my nans neighbours house and she had a spinning wheel and I pretended to prick my finger and die on the floor, and my nan was like get up! And me and my friend use to take bites out of apples pretneding they were poisonous like from sleeping beauty. I also did an aerial pose in a family photo and made myself look like a girl. So yeah disney was the key for my present gayness.

I had crushes on all the boy stars of the action TV shows, from Tim Considine (Spin Evans) to Bobby Diamond (Fury) to Tommy Rettig (Lassie) to cousins Bobby and Johnny Crawford (MMC and the Rifleman). I was curious about girls (Annette's blossoming bosoms were not lost on me), but was most seriously interested in boys! The Lone Ranger didn't do as much for me as his newphew, Dan (the Green Hornet's grandfather, by the way). Gosh, it turned out I was gay? Who knew?

Yeah I had a lot of action figures, never any barbie dolls, I think I've owned only one in my entire life and that's because my grandmother brought it for me but I didn't really play with it. and I remember whenever I used to play "house" there would be 2 mommies and no daddy (lol)

This is not the 1970s or 1980s ... or even the early 1990s. A bathroom stall is a really unsanitary place to hook up. Your explanation implies this may be your first time ... I'm not one of those people that will say "it should be special." A hook up is just a hook up. Find some place clean and non-smelly to hook up.

My sister played baseball. basket ball, football and didn't like dolls and she turned out straight somehow? Only girl thing she owned was an Easy Bake Oven and that's what I really liked and wanted but never got. I bitched about wanting an Easy Bake to my parents and they just figured I wanted it because I was a fat child and wanted to eat all the cakes that I was going to make and said no! My parents never figured out it was the girl things that I really wanted. Funny my mom never figured out where all her bras and panties went. :o)

Oh bugger. You've found my "missing link". I thought I turned gay when I got shagged by a guy after a drunken night
But thinking about it, I too have memories of doing all that to Action Man....
.... My two Action Men used to enjoy naked wrestling. (Well, I think THEY enjoyed it)

my sister caught me in bed with another boy at a young age, both of us naked. wasn't anything sexual - too young. just was a bit hard ot explain! the funny thing was i hate him now and possibly did then, if not a few years later i'd have worked out how horrible he was. possibly a sign that i was gay. never really had crushes on girls either. other than this i dunno. haha.
