It looks like the the BNP party is the only party actually commited to change and tackling sensitive issues around immigration, before you ask, no I'm not racist just don't see mass immigration a shaving a positive effect on our country.

But I haven't heard much about their policy on gay rights? Would they take away any of the rights gays were given during labour because if so I'd be realy put off voting for them. Gay people arnt responsible for any of the problems the UK faces so shouldnt be made into victims.

I was considering voting for the BNP but having read their policies on law enforcement I quickly changed my mind. If they allowed corporal and capital punishment once more that would mean anything goes from brutal beatings to being shot, electrocuted or even hung and I somehow get the feeling that they wouldn't be entirely unbiased when making decisions on criminal punishment. That really is a policed state and government rule, it wouldn't be long before you had an oppressed country. Voting the BNP in will give them the power to abuse their authority and they will certainly "cleanse" this country of foreign blood but the way they do it could be anything up to a recreation of the holocaust and it wouldn't be illegal.

The BNP is a fascist party, though they are downplaying it at the moment. They believe in pure blood and age-old traditions. I feel it would only be a matter of time before gays were targeted. I could be wrong, but it's just my opinion. Most of the members of the BNP are married people with the 2.4 kids type family. I think it's safe to say they believe in traditional families and disagree with same-sex couples. They're just not addressing it for obvious reasons, they'd lose a hellova lot of voters if they did.

Personally i'm leaning towards UKIP, they also have some policies on immigration, but they're not so extremist. I'm just a little concerned that they haven't made any public announcement on where they stand in the legal system. They could be the same as the BNP, but hiding it.

I know I don't have long, but i'm still deciding and nit-picking the parties. Right now i'm tempted not to vote at all. I don't think I fully trust or agree with any of them.

Let's just say that if you voted BNP, you wouldn't be the most popular person in the world, and your chances of getting a job, especially in professions such as teaching and the NHS will be cut short. Despite the BNP claiming they aren't racist, this is not true. I actually visited the website out of interest, and I watched a video with the leader of the party talking about how he thought "it was disgraceful that the BNP had a racist image", this all sounds well and good, but then I looked up at the top of the website and it said "british jobs for british workers". Slight contradiction maybe? The BNP sounds like the ideas Hitler had during Nazi Germany, and as for their policies on gay rights, I wouldn't even want to know. If they discriminate others because of their race/skin colour, then God knows how they'll discriminate gays and lesbians. And as for immigrants, they take the jobs British people don't want, such as cleaning etc. By no means am I saying Labour or Conservatives are great, but if you want a party like the BNP to be in power, then you are a very shallow person indeed. If you're not racist, then don't vote for them. It was only a couple of years ago when the BNP got into bother when they started slagging off Islam.

I accept as true with "the patriot" - vote UKIP. they have many rules that are an identical by way of fact the BNP and that i don't think of their manifesto mentions gay people (which denotes acceptance) i don't know if the BNP is against quiet, decent gay people like your self or besides the fact that if or not they are merely against the advertising (somewhat than the acceptance) of the gay existence form in colleges and gay marriage and gay adoption. they have long gone too some distance for my area in the event that they are against civil partnerships. To my techniques acceptance of homosexuality is nice yet i don't basically like the aggressive promoters of it

The BNP has a policy of tolerance to homosexuality in private, but states that homosexuality "should not be promoted or encouraged".[117] According to Gay.com in 2006, the BNP supports the re-criminalisation of homosexuality.[118] The BNP opposed the introduction of civil partnerships in the United Kingdom.[119] BNP spokesman Phil Edwards said homosexuality "is unnatural" and "does not lead to procreation but does lead to moral turpitude and disease". Alongside its suggestion that homosexuality "undermines social/marital cohesion by adding confusion", the BNP would make it unlawful to promote homosexuality and "return it to the closet where it belongs".[120] The BNP is particularly worried about the possibility of homosexuality being promoted in schools.[121]

Mark Collett, former chairman of the Young BNP, described homosexuals as "AIDS Monkeys", "bum bandits" and "faggots" and said the idea of homosexuality was a "sickening thought".[124] Articles published in the Sunday Times and Daily Mail have alleged that Nick Griffin has been involved in homosexual relationships with other BNP members, although he vehemently denies it.[125][126]

My own view: They seem to be against gays but to win as many votes as possible, they'll stay relatively quiet on the subject now, until they get into power, typical of a lot of extreme parties

My opinion of the BNP is that they will only be of benefit to straight white married people with children. I visited their website a few years ago and got the distinct impression that they were very very homophobic. They may have changed their policies now, but I'd never trust them. I am neither straight or married, nor a parent. Apart from their immigration (not repatriation) policies they have nothing to offer me.

On a personal level, I don't like Nick Griffin's face. He has the appearance of a vindictive man and he does not inspire confidence in me.

They oppose civil partnerships and up until 2005 they wanted to criminalise homosexuality.

There are child molesters and gang rapists and murderers and crack addicts in the BNP. So that's a little bit rich isn't it?

heres a list of recent convictions of members of the BNP

Why the hell would you wanna vote BNP?

They are racist, hypocrits and completely unfair... if they ever got in (highly unlikely, if not impossible) the country would be worse than it ever was... there would be race riots and we'd go back to the way we were in the 50s...

This 2009, get real. If that's the best you can vote for, don't vote!

DO NOT VOTE FOR THE BNP.

They want to recriminalize homosexuality and are very racist.

I'm voting for the Green Party.

They've been careful to keep quiet on the matter, in the past they have been very homophobic and I doubt they've changed much. Don't expect such a party to be sympathetic.
2009-05-31 09:27:22 UTC
I'm voting Liberal Democrat.
2009-05-31 09:03:12 UTC
They are not tolerant of any minority group and that would include gay guys
2009-05-31 07:29:28 UTC
They basically say that what goes on behind closed doors is no business of the state but don't go around flaunting it and no gay marriage either.

Don't listen to all the lies about the BNP from other users.
2009-05-31 06:47:16 UTC
The BNP have no problem with gay people in the party. And nor do I.

Hopefully that should answer your question.

Here are the BNP policies, take a look:

http://bnp.org.uk/policies-2/

The BNP are the only party that stick up for the indigenous white British people.Whatever your sexuality, by being british you are a second class citizen in your own country now.The BNP would put an end to such nonsense as banning british flags and "positive discrimination" against white british people. And we are the only party that would do so.

Ignore the lies from the left and the media
