I NEED EMO BOYS ONLY TO ANSWER?

I am NOT emo.. but I like emo boys. And I was talking to my non-emo friend who also like emo boys too about it and I was thinking about going emo because all the emo boys I have seen like other emo girls. But the thing is... I don't know a lot about emos. So I wouldn't know how to act.. or how to dress, or how to do my hair etc. I DO KNOW to wear black, and the usually have black hair and stuff. My friend said she was gonna wear skinny jeans and shop at hot topic and die her hair black with purple highlights and stuff. Would that be basically emo? and if so.. would that be something an average emo guy would like? if not what is it I SHOULD do to be considered emo? I know nothing about emos and I realize that's not a good start if i wanna be emo but... i don't know what else to do so it would be most helpful if emo boys could help me with this and tell me what i need to do to at least be somewhat emo and be considered cute or hot to an average emo boy.. any answer will be much appreciated =D

ok, hear me out. there is one thing that an emo boy will hate the most. and its what u said in the wrighting "that's not a good start if i wanna be emo". You WANNA BE an emo. if u suddenly turn emo, the boy will definatly know ur just a wannabe emo. so AVOID doing that at all costs. oh, and as for ur friend, tell her not to do that to save her embarrasment. dressing up like an emo doesnt make u emo. in fact it would just make her a massive wannabe. and the emo boys wud think "y have them normal girls suddenly turned into wannabees.". us emos hate wannabees. and u r just trying to change for a boy who if u go out with, you would probably break up with in a month, and at the same time u would have affected a lot of people around u. u hav to think about the impact against other people too.



also, emo boys dont just like emo girls (like me for example, i dont just like emo girls and neither do my friends). i date whoever i want but do not change to do so. if the emo boys only like emo girls, then they r probably just using them as accesories to luk gud. a true emo boy/girl wud go out with whoever they like and not worry about it, because being emo is all about expressing yourself and feelings through how you dress and through the music that you like. and if u do turn into a wannabe suddenly, u wud have no idea really what they r talking about. mostly about music that u probably havent even heard of!!! u probably wont relate very gud to them. the best u wud probably get out of them might be " i like your clothes"



oh and if u do actually talk to the guys and they turn u down, hold ur head up high cuz ther are plenty of emo boys in the world or maybe even hotter normal boys out there!!! be who u r and dont change for ANYONE!!

You don't just become emo you have to be emo, or else you'd be a poser and we don't like posers. Emo is not about the looks you can't just go to hottopic get merch and act emo, the merch that we wear is to show that we like that band or song. If you get merch of these things we're probably going to ask you questions about it and we will find out youre a poser and we seriously don't like posers. We also do date other peopel it's just that emo girls have more similar personalities and are more relatable to us, so if you're not emo don't try to be, be yourself and we might like you. Just so you know the people we don't like are posers and douchebags

emo is short for emotive hardcore. emo as in emotional is just not true as all humans have emotions wether we acknowledge them or not. as for the emo look you should do something with your hair and wear skinny jeans, piercings are hot too. i would start with the hair, i wouldnt do too much or it would just be too obvious that you're just an attention whore. whatever you do, dont call yourself emo. but you can refer to hot emo guys or girls. emos dont exist in nature, its an abstract thing and really not a thing at all. just a socially constructed "look" and sometimes argued a state of mind. and please be carefull with what you do when it comes to tattoos and piercings as it may be considered cool and hot now, you may get a nasty scar or just feel ashamed of yourself later in life. i think emo boys and girls are hot, im a guy
