I'm confused, if God loves us all, why do people who worship god say that being gay is wrong?

I'm honestly so confused. My mom explained to me before, but I'm still confused.
I know, God loves everyone, but if God loves everyone then why does the bible say something about marriage should be a girl and a guy, not the same sex.
I love God, but I'm so confused about this stuff, could someone PLEASE explain to me?

Well dear Panda, its like this

Because God created sex to be in a marriage, and created marriage to be between a man and a woman.

Genesis 2:24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Matthew 19:6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not seperate."

But, some of us humans have decided to be aethiest or agnostic, and dont believe in God. So have no reason to believe in the bible. And can freely decide that they were born gay. And live in it.

Truth is that God doesn't love everyone. He doesn't strictly hate anyone either although if you do something he dislikes he will start to dislike you. God loves you if you follow his guidelines and in this case it's not being gay, I'm religious and bisexual but I'm not out and all that so am not really disobeying God. But I guess there are worse sins than being gay, such as murder.

Ok all these people who will answer don't know a thing about Jesus luckily I do. God loves us all, but if someone is gay les bi etc they are just disobeying . God still loves them because he is a great father :)

hi,you can love someone and not like what they do.God made the law and has to enforce what He said he'd do to those whom break his laws.God created marriage for an reason and a purpose 2 men or 2 women can't fulfill that main purpose
