Okay i know that stripping is really bad. I live in Atlanta and it seems like its almost socially accepted here. Before I moved here, I thought strippers were like hoes that would do anything for money. I've been here for three years and i know some dancers. I can honestly say that some of them are whores. But some of them like my friend, Shena, seem really normal and like goes to school and stuff. She has better grades than me, dresses normal and rarely goes out unless it is to work. I just want to know is she like an exception or is she a whore too and i just don't know it. LOL

No,

Just like in any profession there are people who are "bums" so to speak, that make the rest look bad, for example are all cops "pigs" or crooked? Are all lawyers liars? Are all politicians dirty? Are all fast food workers illegal immigrants? ..and so on and so on

Its just a stereotype. Don't get me wrong, there's good and bad, but its always the bad things people like to listen too. And don't forget about male strippers too. Would you consider them whores or just the women?

I go to college and take care of my son, the hours work for me and it's good money. I don't think I'm a bad person nor would I do anything for money, I have strong boundaries and because of that do I make less money than other girls that will go further? yes, but I'm comfortable with myself.

You worry what you do not know and you do not wish to understand what you worry.....or so it is going. In essence humans do this on the grounds that they're narrowminded and ignorant. Other females are jealous of them, they think threatened by way of them---and plenty of them additionally needed that they had the capability to bop like that. Consider how we bought raised: you do not do that, you cannot do this, it isn't correct, and so on. in conjunction with stereotypes......that contributes to this as good. Also, plenty of Americans don't journey overseas---they suppose that they can't find the money for it(they might in the event that they could check out). It is fairly a studying enjoy to peer different nations, different cultures, different attitudes---it's going to expand one's brain and lead them to extra open and tolerant to different customs. Ever heard of the stomach dancers in Tunesia? They are perceived by way of westerners as whores, however wager what? They are not. They are upstanding residents simply as anybody else(no less than so much of the ones I've obvious). Dancing is a career and this can be a process to become profitable. Men most often like dancers on the grounds that they seem well(dancing is a truly well undertaking)and females won't love it whilst their men speak to a dancer. They mechanically get their guards up on the grounds that of the way in which they bought taught and raised.

Sugah,

There's an exception to nearly everything. One problem with exotic dancers is what they are exposed to at work. Let's face it most of the men in those clubs aren't preachers. I never could understand a man who would pay to be teased. Even if the dancer is straight it is still prostitution without sex. They tell the guy everything he wants to hear for table dance money. Then there's all the other pyschological issues that go with having to expose yourself. Don't you recall that study a few years ago that showed a large percentage of dancers were molested as children. In my rather full life, I have never met a woman leading a normal life, who is a former dancer, but like I said there are exceptions.

Your question is quit interesting. Like you and i know, some people do things like that stuff for the sake of money, while some for the sake of pleasures/fun.

Now to your question, it is more like a believe to me that almost all the exotic dancers are whores. The next question should be "Why?", it is because such dances often expose them to things they will/might not want to do on their own, for instance stripping (like you mentioned above) and being a call-girl, and things of that stuff. In this clear view i strongly think that exotic dancers are doing the wrong thing, to say this is a clear step leading to prostitution and all the likes.

To a conclusion, exotic dancers are more like whores.

People become exotic dancers for different reasons. Your friend is probably one of the people that do it to finance her way through school. I met a couple of strippers in the clubs I used to go to and one of them was a school teacher. He was hetero and danced in gay clubs because he made great tips and was able to greatly supplement his teacher salary. Another guy was a med student and straight. He too was doing this to pay for school. Another female friend was a single Mom and she made great money and was able to spend more time with her daughter because of her job as a stripper. She worked at the club and then went home and lived a normal life, not dating any of her clients or sleeping with them.

I wouldn't call any of them whores. You make good money stripping usually. Some people do it for the money if they have extreme money problems and really need to do anything they can to make money. Some people just enjoy doing it, and I wouldn't call them whores, unless they sleep with all the men they strip for.

It's just a personality thing and a choice usually.

But I certainly wouldn't call them whores!

A number of dancers here in the UK only do it to finance their uni studies. Some go on to become nurses, etc.

No they are not. I dated a exotic dancer for awhile in Charlotte N.C. and she was one of the sweetest ladies i ever met. She ended up being killed by a drunk driver, but if that wouldn't of happen we might of ended up married. She was a GREAT girl

Is it necessary to be an exotic dancer to be a whore?

My observations tell me otherwise.

A lot of them are addicted to something and need to dance to finance their habit. The habit comes first and if prostitution earns the bucks, that's what happens. Some are honest people trying to make a go of things. THey're all dead inside, though. Stripping kills your soul.
