In the US, homosexuals are, on average, more intelligent than heterosexuals. This translates into higher median incomes. Also, most homosexuals do not have families to support; they are generally single.

Theyre not. I know a few poor gay people. And by the way, you cant put the word "more" with "richer". Its "richer" all by itself. Also, I dont know where you heard this strange stereotype, but thats just what it is, a stereotype. Dont believe every crazy thing you hear.

I have heard there were studies which showed gay people are, on average wealthier than hetrosexuals. Which isn't to say that there aren't poor gay people- there are, but on average, homosexuals do seem to be more successful career wise. And I've heard it is more true with gay men than women.



I think much of it may be that homosexuals may be a little bit more cerebral- they are probably better read than the average hetrosexual male, better educated, more meticulous than straight men.



I'm not gay- many people have called me "homophobic", just stating the fact that it does seem when it comes to careers and money, gay men do seem to have it together more than mostof us straight men.

They have higher median income. I think it is because in many poor communities life tends to be more religious, so gay people do not form couples and live celibate or pretend to be heterosexual instead of telling people that they're gay. That will skew the numbers because those gay people won't show up in poll data.

Because they typically go into professions that make more money, IE; stylist/make up to the stars (Kevyn Aucoin, Oprah' make up artist, etc.), interior decorator(Nate Berkus), actors (Rock Hudson, Robert Reed,Dick Sergent,etc.) playwrights(Tennessee Williams), musicians/songwriters (Freddie Mercury, Liberace) and don't forget "Queer Eye: For the straight Guy". These professions all make good money, as do, doctors, lawyers, bankers & finicial planners, I bet you will find homosexuals in every category listed above.

come to me with evidence of this statement. As far as I know, Tom Cruise is the only one, but that's because he hasn't come out of the closet. Maybe gays have richer lives, but how much money they make seldom is reflected in that.

In Asia, most of the homosexuals are poor, less educated or illiterate, or lower middle class who are like plumbers and stuff.

The rich people never show if they're gay. In Asia, you've got to either be straight or a closet gay if you want to be sucessful and liked.

Or be an entertainer and make your homosexual identity like your screen identity that you carry around.

Tough, but that's the way the world is. I hate seeing homosexuals being discriminated upon. Why should their sexual identity be a hinderance to their success?!

I heard a theory once that once you have money you can pursuit the things in life that you really want.



When you don't have money you're worried about what you're going to eat and where you're going to live.



When you have money you can think and deal with other things - such as picking a lifelong partner that is truly compatible with you - regardless of gender....
