So my dad’s (I have gay parent’s) are celebrating their 10 year anniversary soon and all my straight friends have thrown their heterosexual parents some type of anniversary event/party, so now it’s my turn and it’s my turn to demonstrate to my classmates and all the people I know that gay parents are just as loving and functional as heterosexual parents so what do you guys think would be the be the best anniversary present I can give my dad’s a surprise party with all my friends and their friends OR a trip to Mexico which I been saving up for?

I think they will appreciate the trip most. I have two good friends that are lesbians

and very well adjusted. They have been out for years. Still they are careful. When they

came to visit over New Years I took them to a new years party at a country club>

They would not dance with each other. They would only dance with me because

they don't want to call attention. And they won't go on a cruise unless it is

a gay cruise.

I would vote for letting your guys keep neighbors at "arms length," and provide

the private trip for them.

You are a very good son

and i admire how proud you are of your same sex parents

you are an amazing son and i am sure they are very proud of you

I think they would enjoy the small trip to Mexico very much a little getaway is always good But im sure they would enjoy the surprise party too maybe some close friends and family members would be nice.

I think you should ask them. just be like what would you like better? a party or a small trip to mexico

Thats what i do so the person gets what they want

Hope this helps

First I want to congratulate you, that's very thoughtful.

Personally I think a trip to Mexico would be more fun for them...but you know your dads better than I do! What would they enjoy more? Maybe they'd rather a surprise party because they'd feel bad taking a trip off their son's money. I guess....I would go with a surprise party actually, shows them that you like to show them off to your friends.

Cheers!

Dude, a dinner party or a party would be really nice. You could serve things that they both love. A really nice gift would be a picture of both of them, they might have stashed somewhere from when they were dating. If you scan it, fix it up and put it in a nice frame, they will love it.

I think a trip to Mexico would be amazing.

Tenth anniversry is a mileston and this trip would make it really special and memorable especially because you saved up for it.

You're a good son....

And cute too ;)

Awww that's so nice of you!

Buy them some tickets to their favorite destination

A trip to the bahamas

Show them how much you love them

Throw them a party and give them something that they really like

buy them something that they always wanted to buy

give them a gift card from their favorite store

It's their anniversary so they may have plans of their own. This isn't the best of times down in Mexico and everyone would have to have their passports and visas. How about a nice lamp or a vase?

Just do what you think should be done for any strong couple.

The mexico thing sounds nice or a trip to somewhere else.
