your views on gender selection?

hi! i'm researching gender selection for an english paper and i really don't know which side i should support.

should i be against gender selection? saying that it's not right for humans to "play god" and kill innocent babies?

or should i be pro gender selection? i mean we've come so far with this technology, why let it go to waste when we can use it?

just wanted to know your thoughts on this issue! it might help me pick a side!
