Edit: What should I expect on the first few dates? What should I look out for?

I found a profile online of a woman that I'm interested in. I don't really know how to talk to people online though. I do better face to face. Can someone give me some tips on getting started in online dating as well?

Thanks in advance for your help!

That's the first time that I've heard someone say that they do better face-to-face rather than talking to someone. I feel like people are too caught up with technology that talking to someone in person has become so hard to do for the younger generation. At 21 myself, I find it sad.

Anyway, you should expect the same things on a first date that you would with a guy...unless you mean you're new to dating in general. In that case, a first date is to get to know someone better. If you go to the movies it will be hard to get to know someone, since you're more focused on the movie rather than talking. If you're nervous though, that may be a good thing. Just seem interested in what they're saying, ask questions, and be yourself. As far as kissing, etc...that's more of a case-by-case topic. If it feels right go for it, if not don't force it. Good luck :)

1st dates can be awkward-but just be yourself if the rest comes go for it follow the other persons lead. Internet dating can be dangerous meet in a very public place Know the person! people on line lie alot so be careful, you'll do just fine if u just be yourself

Well if ur a boy hen just start off with a compliment and things such as what music she likes and so on... But if urba girl and are either a lesbian or bisexual than well I dont really no which is strange cuz I'm bi but I'm dating a boy so...I usually start our conversation with sexy things... But that's me... So good luck
