Well that's in my opinion true Homophobia. Call them out on it. Be a peacemaker, don't say it to "get back at em'". For example:

"Shut the **** up *****-ass ******"

and you say

"Just because I am different from you does not mean I am any less than you. Don't be Homophobic."

This is all assuming your LGBTQ. If your not, ask them to stop and explain your not LGBTQ. If it peruses after you've asked them 3 times to stop, just punch em' in the nose. If your in school, tell a teacher before that point, but don't be afraid to stand up for yourself after you've respectfully made yourself clear where you stand.

That works for me anyway. I'm pretty fortunate thought, where I go to school it's not near as bad as other schools in my area. People will usually stand behind me when/if I call someone out.
