Is this person a troll? Seeking your opinion?

Here is an interesting question I saw on YA:

I think the poster is a troll, based on their imploring not to be picked on whilst begging for public ridicule at the same time, but I wanted to see what the LGBT folks thought. Do you take him at face value?

I have know some drag queens who were gay (and some who weren't), and many gay men and women. None of the gay men or women I have been close with were cross dressers, and all of the above would never have gone out to a hetero function in drag while still in high school or jr high. Am I just really out of touch with the current state of the gay union, or does this sound really phoney to you too?

Backup question: Being gay, how would you feel if you found out your teen age or younger child was getting email invites from this person of unknown motive?

Cheers.

I'm suspicious, especially when the person gives an email address. I thought that was against the rules. Also, what teenager gets invited to a formal dinner party? I do know a couple of cross-dressers who would get themselves all dolled up for a party like that and they are gay. But this just doesn't sound real and if a younger child got an email invite I would report it to the authorities.

I'm kind of a suspicious person that way.

Given that the account has been active since December 2010 yet they have just one point, yes, I think they're most probably a troll.

I would prefer that they wait until they're old enough to enter a gay bar, than to chat, or potentially meet, with unruly types on the Internet.
