What is "gothic peolpe"?

I'm Vietnamese, this word is really strange 2 me when my friends told me that.
I jus wanna know . What is gothic people like, how they dressed up? Make up?
And wad kinda person is called Gothic people

Being goth has nothing to do with what clothes you wear or music you listen to, it is a way of thinking and seeing the world. The clothes that goths wear and the music that goths listen to is just a reflection of that mindset. Goths see that there is extreme pain and evil in the world, along with the good. Instead of condemning it or ignoring it, goths accept these things as a part of life and try and enjoy the good along with the bad, since they can't stop the bad from happening. They are not obsessed with death, they just accept it as an inevitability. They do not try and cause more pain in their (or anybody else's) lives, since there is plenty to start with. Goths tend to be kind, intelligent, non-violent, emotional, and artistic.

Ophelia is exactly right. Not every one who dresses in black or listens to dark metal considers themselves "Gothic." As time goes by the term is harder to define or find boundaries for. Goth is a subculture that came from punk in the late 70s and early 80s. It is more of a mindset than anything else...and goths can listen to any kind of music and not not every single person that is a part of the culture cuts themselves! There are many, many steriotypes to what is expected of Gothic people- But seriously, shouldn't we just accept everyone for who they are?

Not all gothic people dress, think, and act the same. Being gothic is more about your way of thinking and attitude. Not doing what society expects you to do, and not caring what they think about you. And morbidity and "darkness" is usually a big part of a gothic person's life, too

Real goths (I was into it before it became cool, got twisted around and mixed with punk, and became what is now emo.) are just interested in the "darker" parts of life. This spills over into many aspects of their life, from reading books detailing the lives of sociopaths to listening to darker (gothic) bands like Sister of Mercy and Bauhaus to wearing darker colored clothing. Goths aren't all a bunch of miserable overly-emotional people like emo people today. Many lived happy, successful lives. They embrace and recognize all parts of human nature, including our darker desires. This does not spill over into committing evil, but it often spills over to expressing parts of our desires that are considered taboo and bad, like BDSM. I hope this helps!

gothic people,as a steriotype,like to dress in black often.there are many different kinda of goth.some wear makeup,some dont.there are all different kinds of gothic personalities.you can look it up anywhere on the internet to find out about them.you could look up "gothic people" in google images.

nicely eyeliner can look gothic or trashy if its overapplied. yet brown is a extra diffused colour. in case you tell your mom and father and educate them that you wil in ordinary words placed on slightly, they could agree. only slightly to go back out your eyes is very. If all else fails, note in college, then on the top of the day, remove it with lotion or a makeup remover pad.

A gothic person is someone who dresses in mostly all black, and wears dark eyeliner (male and female) and black lipstic (only female). they are usually pretty sullen, but that is probably just the stereotype. i've never really talked to someone who is goth, so i don't really know.

gothic people are usually teens who hate their parents and want to embarass them by looking like total freaks. there are older goths and they never grew out of being freaks and usually never get laid unless by other freaks which shouldnt really count because normal people dont count the freaks, they usually try to forget them. if i were you id forget about these freaks and try not to look at them either
