My boyfriend and I are coming to visit San Francisco for two nights in April, and we're looking for a cheap ($50-$100 per night for the room) and decent place to stay. Hopefully, close to The Castro.
We are looking for a hostel / other budget accomodation.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

If you want a decent hotel at a very good price, I suggest you use priceline.com and name your own price. Don't be shy to set your price low, such as $25.00. I have used priceline many times and always got a 2 star hotel that would have cost over $80.00 a night for $40, I also got a $90.00 hotel for $25.00. Don't pay retail, pay your OWN price..!!

I stayed at the Hilton Towers and everything was in walking distance. It was a little pricey but the amenities were well worth the price.
