Know anyone who is completely different/opposite to their facade? Any stories?

I was just wondering if anyone has any stories on someone they thought they knew until they found out a completely different side to the person.

e.g. I have this cousin who is a complete macho tough guy who hardly ever talks and always has this aggressive frown/sneer on his face.

He's tall, a gym body and any time you try and talk to him, he just answers with one word answers then looks away.

I just found his personal blog online complete with his photos and he has all these entries on feelings, emotions and how he gets hurt with friends and reminisces on past times softly.

It scared the BLOODY hell out of me! LOL! I NEVER KNEW!

I then spoke to his sister who revealed to me he actually has a very sensitive and touchy secret side to him no-one knows.

Any stories of people you thought you knew but they ended up being completely different/opposite to what you have perceived of them?

Yes, my boyfriend is violent but only towards me cos he thinks I can take it. Everyone thinks I am because I'm muscular and he isn't.

That's the M.O. of a good 'con-man.' I can think of many priests & politicians (ironically) that also 'fit the bill !' Then there's me: 1 day I'm kickin' butt in a street fight; the next, I'm @ home, dressing up like a pretty girl - so, which is the "fascade?" I think it's BOTH me !!!

The only thing I know is that a lot of people would be shocked to see the real feminine me when dressed
