Question:
So why don't we go to Reddit instead of coming here to Yahoo Answers?

Yahoo Answers has become a disaster. Most of the intellectuals who made this section great have left. Now that she sadly left too, I am losing interest in this site too, this section. Sure there are still awesome people like Rob, Dave Jamie, Strummer and Miranda but too many questions are getting reported plus the glitches messing things up.

Oh dear

Reddit seems like a great site and trolls often get banned. There are also sites like Kik too. What do you think?

Reddit is a troll site and is filled with hundreds of idiots. 4chan is a Quincy site and Kik sucks.

The Trolls are just as nasty or even nastier on Reddit, if that is possible, and there are NO account levels on Reddit. In addition you CAN be UNIVERSALLY banned from participating on ALL of Reddit. just like your email account can be suspended, blocked from participating on. Reddit does NOT have an appeals process like YA's and Yahoo's appeal process, but there are REAL LIVE HUMAN BEINGS moderating the sub-reddits, NOT software or server computers.

IF Verizon shuts down YA, Ill go to Quora or Disqus, not Reddit. According to Time magazine columnist, Reddit is the ninth most trolly place on the web. YA wasn't even mentioned in the the time article.

I prefer the STRICT question answer format that YA is SUPPOSED to have.. It's up to Verizon if they want to turn YA into chat forum or discussion board. Verizon bought Tumblr too, and Tumblr is dying. The YA blog on Tumblr has NOT been updated since March 7, 2017. Verizon has owned Yahoo since JUNE.Verizon barely acknowledges that it owns YA. when you email Verizon about abuse on YA.

I don’t like Reddit, it’s too serious. But Ross has a group chat on Kik for Yahoo Answers users. It currently has me, him, Saut de Chat, White Rabbit, and Alexander. Other (good) users are always welcome to join, just ask me and I’ll see what I can do.

You make a point there... Even though I don't like ya. Yahoo ain't want it used to be. Once had many, now has few. The fúckers are few unlike before where it was easy to attack and bully em. Now it jusg not fun like before with my stuff getting taken down by the bullshit supporters. Can't even post a question without the chances of it get deleted. My points are 150,had thousands man. Thousands.

Man Yahoo Answers is dead.

I just check in a couple of times a day out of old habbit, and there is sometimes still a few good questions to answer, but I'm beginning to open up to trying new arenas.
